Tempus Fugit Creme de Banana Fruit Liqueur 750ml
Description
Step back into cocktail history’s golden era with Tempus Fugit’s extraordinary Crème de Banana, now in a generous 750ml format that ensures your tropical cocktail adventures never run dry. This artisanal recreation of a classic liqueur category showcases what banana liqueur should be—natural, complex, and utterly delicious. By following historical recipes and using only real fruit, Tempus Fugit has created a liqueur that makes modern artificial versions seem like pale imitations.
The visual presentation alone sets expectations high, with a rich golden color that speaks to natural ingredients rather than artificial coloring. The aroma is intoxicating—freshly peeled ripe bananas dominate, supported by notes of vanilla custard, caramelized sugar, and a hint of tropical flowers. This isn’t the one-dimensional banana candy smell of cheaper alternatives, but rather a complex bouquet that captures the full essence of the fruit at perfect ripeness.
Tasting reveals the careful craftsmanship behind this liqueur. The banana flavor is bold yet nuanced, presenting the fruit’s natural sweetness alongside subtle notes of banana bread, brown butter, and exotic spices. The texture is notably rich and velvety, coating the palate luxuriously without becoming syrupy. What’s remarkable is how the natural extraction process captures flavors impossible to replicate artificially—the slight green note from banana peel, the creamy center’s sweetness, even hints of the fruit’s floral character.
The extended finish leaves a warming sensation with lingering true banana flavor that invites creative cocktail exploration. From resurrecting forgotten tiki classics to creating innovative modern drinks, this liqueur provides the authentic banana flavor that discerning bartenders demand. The 750ml size ensures plenty for experimentation, making this an essential addition to any serious cocktail enthusiast’s collection.
