Penelope Cooper Series Rio Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Penelope Cooper Series Rio Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an adventurous and luxurious expression from Penelope Bourbon, blending tradition with global inspiration. This limited edition in the Cooper Series is a straight bourbon finished in both American honey and Brazilian Amburana wood casks, creating a rich and exotic profile unlike any other. A tribute to innovation in barrel aging, “Rio” brings out bold, layered flavors that redefine what bourbon can be.
On the nose, Rio opens with decadent notes of cinnamon rolls, toasted oak, and warm vanilla. The palate is an explosion of flavors—sweet honey, spiced banana bread, and a touch of clove—balanced by the smooth character of the base bourbon. Amburana cask influence brings an unmistakable aroma of baking spices and sweet woods that elevate the entire tasting experience. The finish is long, warm, and complex, with a silky texture that lingers.
Penelope Rio is a dream for collectors and flavor explorers alike. It marries the strength of American bourbon craftsmanship with the sweet spice of South American tradition. Whether enjoyed neat or with a splash of water, this whiskey showcases the versatility and creativity of modern bourbon-making.
