High N’ Wicked Warlander Bourbon is a bold and expressive blended straight whiskey. It combines tradition and creativity in every pour. Crafted in limited release by High N’ Wicked with artist and pro skier Chris Benchetler, Warlander showcases a fearless spirit. Moreover, the whiskey draws inspiration from the rare Warlander horse—a hybrid of strength and finesse—and channels that energy into every sip.
This whiskey blends three- and four-year-old Kentucky straight rye and bourbon. Consequently, it delivers the bright, fruit-forward notes of rye alongside the depth and spice of high-rye bourbon. After blending, the team re-barrels it in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-rye casks. Then, they rest it for over two months. Therefore, the result is a complex, layered spirit at 99 proof (49.5% ABV) that rewards slow sips and thoughtful conversation.
On the nose, Warlander reveals bright citrus, including grapefruit and lemon zest. Next, aromas of caramelized orange, salted caramel, and green apple emerge. Additionally, subtle hints of grilled peach and fresh dill add intrigue, followed by a whisper of black cherry.
