Drak Art’s 12-year rye is a focused, high-rye MGP pick with classic peppery notes and a sturdy oak frame—an assertive rye chosen for its spice and balance.
This 95/5-style rye selection from MGP (as indicated in the pick name) offers the hallmark rye spiciness complemented by caramel and oak from extended aging. Bottled as a single-barrel pick, it carries the specificity and nuance of one well-chosen cask.
Expect a lively, pepper-forward expression that still retains a polished, mature edge from a dozen years in wood.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Bright rye spice with underlying caramel and toasted oak.
