Colonel E.H. Taylor Rye Whiskey 750ml
Description
Colonel E.H. Taylor Rye Whiskey is a Straight Kentucky Rye Whiskey with bold spice and historic depth. Buffalo Trace crafts this small-batch expression from a mash bill of rye and malted barley, with no corn. Because it follows Bottled-in-Bond standards, it arrives at 100 proof with firm structure and classic intensity.
The aroma opens with dried fruit, black pepper, and a touch of fresh dill. Then warm grain and oak bring a deeper, more savory tone. This gives the whiskey a distinctive profile that feels rich, spicy, and refined.
On the palate, sweet and savory notes move together with impressive balance. Dark spices lead first, while subtle caramel adds roundness. Meanwhile, the rye grain keeps the sip bright and lively. The texture feels full, focused, and confident without becoming too sharp.
The finish is dry, oaky, and long enough to leave a lasting impression. As a result, this bottle suits rye enthusiasts, collectors, and buyers looking for a whiskey with more structure than a softer bourbon.
Enjoy Colonel E.H. Taylor Rye neat to appreciate its full character. However, it also works well over a large cube or in a premium Manhattan. In addition, it pairs nicely with pastrami, smoked pork, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, charcuterie, or dark chocolate. For a rye whiskey with heritage, spice, and Buffalo Trace craftsmanship, this bottle delivers a memorable pour.
