87 points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, April 2002
This is an estate where the quality of the second wine is more than a simple afterthought. The 1999 Pavillon Rouge de Margaux exhibits notes of herbs in its elegant, medium-bodied, forward, complex personality. It possesses the character of its big sister, but not the weight, concentration, or length.
